We started serving coffee out of Moon Hollow Brewing back in July under the name Solar Hours. Honestly, just because we just really liked doing it. Between our community showing up for our morning cups and a shared passion for crafting exceptional coffee, specialty drinks, and scratch-made pastries, it quickly turned from a fun side project into something we wanted to do full-time.

Sustainable and responsible sourcing is a huge priority for us. Whether it's our scratch-made pastries or our drinks, we refuse to compromise on quality or our standards. That is why we proudly partner with Counter Culture Coffee — a roaster known for their relentless dedication to environmental sustainability, transparent and ethical direct-trade relationships with farmers, and an uncompromising commitment to incredible-tasting coffee.

Behind the scenes, the people you already know from the brewery are pouring their hearts into this next chapter. Our team is bringing all the house-made syrups, teas, shrubs, and scratch-baked goods that everyone has grown to love down in Prices Fork, alongside the familiar creative touches that shape the look and feel of Moon Hollow. All of them — alongside our incredible Moon Hollow Brewing family of wonderful employees and customers — have made this possible. We genuinely couldn't have done it without the support of our people and our community.

Now, we’re bringing that whole vibe downtown to The Local. Whether you know us from the brewery down the road or you're just walking in off the street for a latte and a fresh pastry, you're welcome here.
